AKC has now recognised the Short Jack's as "Russell Terriers" in the AKC FSS program. Being slightly longer than tall, with 50/50 leg-height ratio. Measured at the withers, standing 10-12 inches in height. These Russell's are not to be crossed with Parson's or any other breed.
