Going green by horse power... Laura and her Austrian Haflinger Paris...
"Paris" saddled up and ready to go for a nice trail ride.
Austrian Haflinger Draft Horse, this mare stands 13 hands tall. Beautiful chestnut color with a gold shine to it, almost like a Palomino. Her long wavy mane is blond in color. She was trained for driving the cart under harness by the Amish, and is now 7 years old. What a great horse, planning on a visit she likes her treats... lol

Paris stepping out in her new shoes and hairdo.
Heath is making Paris special shoes for her so she doesn't slip on the road or wear her feet down. A hard surfacing material called Borium (tungsten carbide) is applied at the toe and heel of the horse's regular steel shoes in smears, Oh how her feet look so nice :)
Paris loves to drive me around the back roads of Dahlonega, we go riding and driving a few times a week for about 4-5 miles. Now she has driving shoes on we'll get on the roads at a good trotting pace catching a good breeze along the way....
